Where to find glowworms in New Zealand's Fiordland National Park

“Be prepared to just experience something very unusual — probably unlike any other experience you’ll have.” — Chris Brooker, Real Journeys Team Leader, on Te Anau’s glowworm caves in New Zealand’s Fiordland National Park.

Fiordland National Park, located in Te Waipounamu (the South Island), is a region defined by snow-capped mountains, deep lakes, fast flowing rivers and vast forests and tussock grassland. In 1990, UNESCO recognised the outstanding natural values of Fiordland National Park, creating Southwest New Zealand World Heritage Area.
