Jacqui’s stories are published in New Zealand, Canada and the US. She’s written for AA Directions, AAA Traveler Worldwise, Motorhomes, Caravans & Destinations, Bride and Groom, New Zealand Life & Leisure, Heritage New Zealand, stuff.co.nz, Stone Soup, The Wairarapa Journal, Flight Centre New Zealand, Epicure & Culture, Wander with Wonder and Calculated Traveller. For two years, she was blog director and co-editor of US-based Food, Wine and Travel Magazine.
Jacqui travels independently and courtesy of tourism and destination agencies. Past hosts include Ngāi Tahu Tourism, AAT Kings, the Solomon Islands Visitors Bureau, Oceania Tourism, San Juan Island Visitors Bureau (US) and Brand USA. In May 2018, Jacqui attended the IPW International Travel conference with the New Zealand delegation in Denver, USA.

Jacqui is a published science, heritage and culture writer. Her feature stories appear in Heritage New Zealand, E-Tangata, Wilderness and VetScript magazines. In 2018, she was an Aotearoa New Zealand Science Journalism Fund awardee, sponsored by BioHeritage Challenge, Ngā Koiora Tuku Iko.
Government & business
Jacqui writes for government and business publications such as Public Sector Journal, Employment Today, Idealog, Education Review and NZ Marketing. She turns out content for websites, videos, press releases, brochures, annual reports and consultation documents.
In 2019, Jacqui was a finalist in The Foodies, the New Zealand Food Media Awards for Best Feature Writing and won the 2019 Agriculture Journalism Encouragement Award recognising excellence among journalists new to agriculture reporting.
